Beyond completely unacceptable.
I say 20 years minimum.
Besides her, if you're him, who you going after first?
Jury?
DA?
Lawyer?
Other?

Every woman that has ever been raped for real should be having a "firm discussion" with this lady.

I still do not see the reason to create the rape story.

Reason to create the rape story: so much sympathy that your story will not be subject to much scrutiny for fear of being horribly insensitive to a rape victim. It's the unquestionable crime. You question their story and it's like raping them again.
Prolly what the lady in the Rick Pitino case had in mind when she tried to weasel her way out of extortion charges by going to the police station 6 years after the alleged rapes and filing a report.

How is he still in the can? Upon her confession and the DNA proof, it should have been "case re-opened, closed again, he's free".
I agree with you Assman, then I say charge her with perjury and send her ass to the clink. Maybe a butch bull-dyke can really give her what she claimed she got in the first place. Twat.

The court papers say the district attorney’s office refused and argued that the DNA could have come from tears shed by Ms. Peguero’s friends. End of story? Nothing like, "hey DA, are you on fucking crack??"

Word.
Shame is apparently overrated.
I know it's an over used saying, but I really wonder how someone like that sleeps at night.

DA's office can't be wrong. They never admit it, even in the face of insurmountable evidence such as this. The only good news is some federal judges are calling them on their shit.
Bad news is that this poor bastard is still in prison and no one pays for it but him. I do smell a wrongful conviction lawsuit brewing, though.

Three words:
civil rights lawyer.
(somebody give that guy my card!)

I'm not sure who else he should go after, though my vote is that the DA definitely needs some sort of review at the very least.
He can sue her, right? Please tell me that he can sue her ass for doing this to him! (And as a woman who has been raped, I can say that I'd like to give her a piece of my mind, that's for damned sure. It's unfathomable that someone would voluntarily ruin someone's life in such a manner!)

What, an unwelcome penis? Is this a bull-dyke lesbian or Lady Gaga?

That gives new meaning to the term "Disco Stick," I guess.

What we have here is a teachable moment. There is a documented history of men who have been wrongly accused or rape, and in this case, the police and the court system acted stupidly. Maybe the two of them can get together for a beer.... First, I'd go after the DA. The cum stain obviously has no conscience letting the man sit in jail for 2 years. What's the going price for a year of a person's life? As for the woman, let her sleep with a night light on for the rest of her life.

Huh?
Am I missing something?
What's so bad about that?

After the DA, she'd be next. Candidate for a deep, dirt nap.
