hdo is like the nicest person I know so this is actually a totally abnormal amount of vitriol. I'm a little worried about him.
I do not know if I am so euphoric from the elections and getting the present crooked administration out of office, or so depressed by the state of the world, that nothing jumps out as a grievance. However, there are a few out there.
Holier than thou right-wing Christians. Every breath is praising God. I believe, and was baptized. I try to follow the 10 Commandments, and the Golden Rule. That is fine, as far as I am concerned. If you wish to go to church twice or more each week, and tithe your 10%, go ahead. Don’t ram your religious feelings down my throat.

OK, I'm taking the easy target and using fundy Christians as my example because, due to a small card playing addiction, I have spent way too much time online and these are the kind that keep showing up. These people make me wanna turn atheist, only I am too curious a soul to give up that easily. I am respectful of your fanciful, wish-fulfillment, need for a daddy to make it all better neurosis that suddenly makes you superior for beliefs in things that cannot even be questioned (Fundy's don't doubt) let alone proven; I'll even tolerate your limiting God to a book that is more fiction than fact, and anthropomorphizing God (I'm sure it doesn't care) even though I find they "eye of God" to be a worthy visual option. I won't mess with your God, who scares the crap outta me cuz he's nothing like the Jesus I've read about, but please SHUT UP! We get it! Get this though, NONE of us will Truly Know until it doesn't matter to our humanity. I decided not to include this in my rant, out of respect if not indifference, except last night, as I was minding my own business trying to re-learn bridge, one of my online friends had the audacity to ask me how can I celebrate Christmas if I am not a Christian. My reply that I am warmed by the spirit of the season was not good enough. So I didn't elaborate that it's become a sectarian holiday as well, and ya gotta celebrate on days off! Did I mention the food? This lady can eat her Christmas dinner this year! I like eating from an abundant table and I'm sure a bunch of God's are worshiped for these ideals. This is what blew my mind: She went on to say that I should not sing Christmas songs if I do not believe in what they say. I don't believe in Ziggy Stardust and him I can see, but I sing along to this song among countless others. And, reindeer exist! So to her, and all the closed minded of every religion, I say fu-fu-fu-fuuu fuu-ndamental sucks!

Yes, hdo and Tia, fundy Christians DO suck! The absolute BIGGEST problem I have with them is not the fact that they try to push their religion on everyone, but that they are by far the biggest bunch of judgmental, confrontational, sin-sational, hypocritical FUCKS! They do not represent what I believe God would want from his followers.
