Mike Singletary will apparently bring the same fire to coaching that he did to the field. Lord knows the 49ers need it. I think I've read that the once vaunted franchise has more losses over the past ten years than the Lions and the Bengals. Awesome to see a coach take one of today's look-at-me-diva-douchebags down. (Gracias, Ocho.)
Not a great coaching decision, however, to go for it on 4th & 4 (from the 29) with :30 before the half. A FG would have cut the lead to 7. Instead, JTOS threw a patented pick-6. Congrats, now you're down 3 possessions instead of one.

Wow...sending the guy to the showers with 10 minutes left and down by three scores. What a man of principle! Meanwhile Santonio Holmes sat a whole fucking game yesterday for getting a DWB in a game he was desperately needed and nobody says a fucking word about it.

Regardless of tactical soundness, he sent a message. I think he likes Davis. He is setting a tone. This team will improve and Davis explodes next game. Singletary has credibility and pedigree. And you dont want to get "Vern'ed".

I'm just waiting for the day that he straps on the pads and gets after it himself. Only then with the Niners actually be worth anything, and this coming from a Lions fan.
Also, there is no way they have more losses than the LieDowns over the past ten years. Really?

All I can say is that I, for one, am way past tired of hearing adult humans call him SanAntonio Holmes. It's fuckin' Santonio! Goddamn retards! Oh well, there goes one of my Festivus items.
"Singletary has credibility and pedigree."
As a player, yes. We all know he wouldn't have let Leonard Weaver look like a star if he was on the field. The jury's still out on how effective he'll be as a head coach. And BTW -- Mike Martz is the reigning heavyweight champion of overrated football coaches.

Like I said, you dont want to get "vern'ed" next week. They will be better.

And just like that, I am officially rooting for the 49ers.
Just watched the clip again.
Awesome. Just way fucking awesome.

I'm with Dr. Whatley. There can't be anyone worse than the Lions in the past decade. I think I was in about Grade 9 the last time they won a postseason game.
