How It's Made

I don't really have a lot of time to mess around over here this week as I'm trying to squeeze five days of work into three but in light of Assman honoring my request for an NBA draft diary without the New England smugness, I'll reciprocate in the best manner possible...bacon. I do believe this is my first use of the food and drink tag as well. All I have left is real estate, art, and web/tech. I should be there by the end of the decade.

Like you're not ordering a BLT for lunch after that?

Lord... that's just breakfast foreplay right there.

Way better than a rickroll.

Little tip on cooking bacon by itself: put it in the oven at 400 for 12 minutes. Perfect every time and less mess.

On a burger, there may be no better topping next to cheese than the thick cut, peppered bacon. Just sayin'.....

"...there may be no better topping next to cheese than the thick cut, peppered bacon."

Absolutely true. Ask any cardiologist.

In my opinion, peppered bacon and guacamole make an unbeatable burger smothering combo. Toss in a dark, yellow cheese and you're in hot belly business.

Ask any cardiologist.

No.

The best thing I can say about bacon is that my mother wraps dates with it and serves them as hors d'oeuvres. It's delicious.

Dates.

Your mother is single?

Sorry, just had to.

The best thing you can say about bacon is that your mom makes a tasty, gay appetizer with it?

No...that it can make me enjoy a date.

If you're not enjoying dates, you're probably doing it wrong.
