Props to The Mighty MJD for hooking this up.
Somewhere along the line Vince Carter got branded with the "Pussy" label. Maybe it't the fact that he always seems to be injured, or perhaps it's because he preferred to go to his college graduation than rest all day for a Playoff Game 7, or maybe it's because he dogged it so badly when he wanted out of Toronto that the team revoked Mama Carter's parking spot, or perhaps it's because Bill Simmons has been running the "Vince Carter and his gynecologist" jokes for years now, or maybe it's someone like the supremely talented Mighty MJD taking things up another notch and informing us about Vince's "sprained uterus." (More after the jump)
In any event, I just watched the video linked to here and all I have to say is that while the man may have his shortcomings, calling Vince Carter an out and out vagina is entirely unfair.
You want to call out an NBA player (or former one) for having a torn labia? Start with Scottie Pippen. I hear he's got money problems and is considering a comeback. Rumor has it he'll wind up with the Spurs, Heat or Lakers. Fact has it that he is one of the most overrated athletes in the history of sports.
That Frederic Weis shit? Good. God. Damn.
No way, Chiles. Pip was tenacious on defense and vicious on offense.
Yeah, he may as well have gotten a Brazilian wax that season that he whined because Mike left on him, but he at least had to be as talented as Vince.

"Pip was tenacious on defense and vicious on offense.
First of all, has Walt "Clyde" Frazier inhabited your soul?
Second, I'm assuming you don't watch the 4th quarter of your NBA games. If you do, you'd know that Pippen pulled more disappearing acts than Harry Houdini in his prime.
Seriously though, tt bothers me to no end that Pippen is considered a top-flight NBA player. The dude rode Jordan's coattails and saying that he was as nice as Vince is crazy talk.

Somewhere along the line?? How about at every turn?? How about for all of the reasons you mentioned above. How about for saying that he mailed it in in Toronto. How about for saying that he didn't want to dunk anymore.
Look, there is no doubt that he is a phenomenal athlete, when he wants, he could be the best player in the game as he is totally unguarable. But the fact is, he likely won't even make the hall of fame and he certainly won't win a championship.
You can say that Pippen rode the coat tails of Jordon and I certainly won't disagree, but give me Pippen over Vince any day. At least Pippen played any kind of defence wanted to win when he was out there.

I can't believe you people would rather have Pippen than Carter. You must just be messing around.
