IT'S ANOTHER FESTIVUS MIRACLE!
Many of you asked what the cryptic post of last Friday was all about. What is this Festivus Miracle? What form would it take? How will I benefit?
And, as promised, the miracle has arrived.
The AofG Crew, myself, Frank and Jackie, have been over-taxed on posting and, frankly, on coming up with rage-filled observations of late. Frank has himself a new job selling specially tailored overcoats, I've been getting killed at the office (being on strike isn't what it used to be...) and by the new baby arrival, and Chiles has been in a ton of pain on some big cases himself. So, we've asked some of our favorite commenters to join us on the front page as regular contributors. And that, my dear friends is a Festivus Miracle for the AofG Crew and you, our loyal readers.
Our new Murderers Row of authors includes:
Assman
You may have known him previously as: QWMaine, the scourge of Festivus Past.
Notable for:
- Bringing the pain, straight, no chaser.
- Liking asses.
The Assman has already hit us up with a strong opening volley. Let him know how you feel.
Jack Klompus
You may have known him previously as: Jack Klompus, or an unnamed past commenter
Notable for:
- Having a pretty sweet pen
- Being the voice of the rational, humanist conservative in a world gone mad
- Torturing Cozmo
- Riding in many Cadillacs
Art Vandelay
You may have known him previously as: the Swamp's own Jerloma
Notable for:
- Being the leader in Latex
- Going toe to toe with the Big O
- Importing... and Exporting
As always, Chiles and I will be adding color where it is needed. With this crew, keep and eye on this space for new content and views in the coming weeks and months.
Sadly, with every change, their can be some creative destruction that comes with that change. And our change is that Mr. Frank Costanza, our spiritual leader, is moving on to greener pastures. Oh, he'll still be around, but in a supervisory role as Chairman Emeritus of the AofG. More on this story as the day develops.

Welcome all. This is The Awesomeness!!!
Fantabulous job on the write-up, Cozmo. Cafe a la Pussee on me!
To the three new heavyweights: Just do us a favor and don't make us has-beens look too bad. Y'all got skillz. Mad skillz.
AofG has hit The Jackpot!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Good luck in retirement, Frank. Don't forget your cruise wear when you pack up for Del Boca Vista.

I have to admit, sometimes I like to use a little chaser. I have to be honest.
And buenas adioses, Frank. You'll be missed.

Cozmo, thanks for the kind words. And let me just say -- as suprising as it may be coming from a conservative, I'm shocked/mortified/disgusted that they allowed you to reproduce.

Congrats on the promotions, all you fellows. I've been reading your work for quite some time, and while I may not always agree with what all of you say, it sure is entertaining to read.

Well, we set off to see the rescue of the cruise ship last night, 5 women and their cheese n crackers and all was well until we started to head back in against the wind. One or two waves swamped us and we were in serious danger of going under. I want to thank the boat that helped us, gave us moral support and direction and ensured that we made it safely back to the closest shore to finish bailing. I think the boat was Cleopatra but can't be sure, but if it was you, please contact me! You have 5 very grateful...
