So, you "lead" your team to the worst record in the NBA. You create more drama in what's supposed to a professional environment than a 16-year-old on the rag with a huge incoming zit on junior prom night. You show about as much flexibility in your approach as I'd imagine C3PO would in pilates class. Your bullshit makes this by far the least enjoyable Knicks season of my life. So, whaddya get? A $40 million check to walk away.
Yeah, makes perfect sense. Matter of fact, I've decided that for the next year at work I'm gonna fuck up all day everyday, bitch, moan, bitch, moan, bitch, moan and bitch and moan some more, and then on a rainy Monday in May '07, I'm demanding a sweet golden parachute. Finally, I've figured it out.
Oh yeah, in some minor related news, Isiah Thomas may take over the reins. (The SportsFrog's Briandtw with his always entertaining take.)
Like most New Yorkers, the Knicks made Larry Brown physically sick this season.
Jackie, really -- what else can we expect from Junior Dolan who said earlier this year that winning was NOT part of the Knick strategy this season? Maybe he forgot that his genius puppet traded away his draft pick.
As long as Thomas is GM and the Evil Dolan Empire owns the show, we will never, ever see the Knicks in the Playoffs, let alone the Finals, ever again.
Larry Brown should take the money & run.

Nail on the head. Kristal, that disclaimer of yours should be printed on every Knicks ticket and program, as well as on every digital marquee at MSG.
It's a helpless feeling. Now you know how Boston Bruins fans feel.

Jackie,
I can't believe that you are trying to throw Larry under the bus. Isaiah has put together the biggest collection of cancers the NBA has ever seen. There is no one that could coach this team and win games. Larry earned his $40 million just by having to endure the entire 82 game season with those guys.

Buck: Guarantee the Knicks have a significantly better record next year if they have another coach, even if that coach is Isiah.
No one's saying a new coach will make lemonade out of lemons, but says here he won't make horse feces out of the lemons either.
Brown was b-r-u-t-a-l.

At last, you Gothamites won't have that whining
little phony on your bench next year.Joe D.
and Mr.D. launched him when they wised up to
him.As for Isiah,he's my favourite Piston ever
(and I've been a fan of the boys in blue for 47 years),but what's he doing over there????
He should have to coach that crap he assem-
bled!!!!!!!!!!!!!
