Despite six years of Spanish, I'm not even sure what that means. Anyway, busy day at the office, coupled with fighting off about 10 Red Bulls and Goose, leads me to give the stage to AofG Super-Heavy Jack Klompus: "You see where a few Latino musicians/activists have written their own version of the American National Anthem? My favorite line:

"These kids have no parents, cause all of these mean laws."

Couple this with "Nothing Gringo Day" and I'm feeling less and less supportive of the guest worker program. Unfortunately, simpatia is not between mierda and sifilis in the diccionario de Espanol."

A Stripper's Rant

Hope some of you AofGers -- I'm looking at you Kramer and Bluehorsehoe -- are taking notes.

"14 -- Boys, don't sit in the front row with your homeboys and act all engrossed in some deep conversation (knowing damn well you ain't talking 'bout shit) during a girls performance because you want to look like you're too "cool" to notice the hot, naked girl in front of you."

Sex Discrimination at Wimbledon?

Wimbledon is the only one of the four Grand Slams that awards larger purses to the men. And I'll be completely honest with you, I have no idea why it's an issue at all (and I think the other Slams have it backwards). To me, the whole thing is simple. The men play best of 5. The women play best of 3. Therefore, the male champion is has to do a lot more than the female champion. The women want to be paid equally, then play the best of five too. End of story.

Jane Jacobs, RIP

All I know about Jane Jacobs is that, without her efforts, my neighborhood would really suck.  So, thanks for everything, Jane.

Say what you will about the man, but you gotta admit he's all class:
