Really, though. What were you expecting him to say? "No, I haven't seen your stupid queerbot movie"?
It was a stupid question, posed only for its idiotic stupidity value, irrelevant to ANYTHING the Bush admin is doing.
I'm surprised he even wasted two seconds on it.

Well, he actually "wasted" over half a minute, said just about nothing and looked (as is his wont) generally befuddled. Like I said, Smooth.

Hey, Bback mountain befuddles me, so not surprised the pres finding it hard to take in. Not that there' anything wrong with it, mind you.

Yeah, Bush's response was dumb. "No, I haven't seen it, but I heard its an interesting movie." would have been a sufficient response.

I actually think its one of the better responses he's given. He knew it was a loaded question - and he basically told the kid who asked it to shove it. Actually stood up for himself...

In other words, no matter what he does, no matter how trivial, you are going to spin it negatively.
Played. Out.

I'm having some difficulty figuring out how you reach that conclusion from my post. But anyway, yeah, as a general matter...
Fuck. Him.
