You just gotta love Anna Benson (wife of New York Mets pitcher Kris Benson.) First, she proclaims that she'll run through the entire team if Kent cheats on her (and yes, I've been to the batting cage just about everyday since) and now she's decided to take Mets management and recently acquired Carlos Delgado (the guy who refuses to stand for "God Bless America" in protest of the war in Iraq) to task, as she feels the "Not-So-Amazins" are trying to get rid of her husband as a result of her negotiating to bear it all for Playboy. Some choice goodness from Mrs. Benson after the jump:
"We would never, ever have signed with New York if they had said they were going to trade us."
"How are they going to sit there and say it's so controversial when they sign someone like Delgado, who turns his back on our flag?"
"Playboy is all-American. Everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Cindy Crawford has posed. They didn't turn their back on the flag."
"We wanted to help the city because of 9/11. We specifically did it for New York, and then they turn around and trade us? I just don't understand."But hey, it could be a helluva lot worse, right? She could look like Brenda.
This is what happens when you marry a crazy ex-stripper.

- Anna Benson
Last time I checked, Carlos Delgado was still from Puerto Rico, which has its own flag.
Hell, if my country was doing the crazy shit the States was too, I'd consider turning my back on the Maple Leaf.
At any rate, with the tons and tons of cash he's going to be making, I think he might be able to stuff a few Ben Franklins in her mouth and not really feel too much of a pinch.

What I don't understand is why she's so upset. Why would she want to be on the Mets? I mean, yeah, it's better than Pittsburgh but there are plenty of California teams she can take her fine ass to. Oh, and she can bring her husband, too.
This broad is still better than spikey-haired-man-troll Warner. And Doug Christie's warden.

WTF does Cindy Crawford and Marilyn Monroe have to do with the flag? And didn't Mrs. Benson get the memo that is now passe to wrap yourself in the flag as a means of justifying bad behavior?

when she was a guest on howard stern in the spring (when she announced her revenge plan if kris ever cheated on her), she was boasting that she negotiated benson's contract. guess she forgot the no-trade clause`

Maybe she's pissed that the prospective trade teams aren't hot enough for her to fuck should Kris ever go astray.
For the record, I'll defend man-troll Warner. Sure she's fugly, but at least she's not an egotistical hyper-mass of stupidity like this one.

I read somewhere that there was a potential trade to Kansas City (my hometown team).
And she thinks the Mets are uptight? Just wait and see what happens if they get stuck here.
