Thanks to the Swamp's wlu_lax6 for showing the way to this great ESPN.com piece on Archibald "Moonlight" Graham, the real-life inspiration for a character in W.P. Kinsella's "Shoeless Joe" and the film adaption that we all know and love, "Field of Dreams". Not only is the article a great read, it contains a quote that tells me all I ever need to know about Barry Bonds:
"I didn't see 'Field of Dreams.' I don't watch movies about what I do," San Francisco slugger Barry Bonds said. What a loveable lunk, eh?
I loved that quote from Bonds too. Pretty much says it all, doesn't it? It's almost too good to be true really. I'm waiting for the Barry Bonds movie review website:
"Bambi? I don't watch movies about animals. Besides, ain't no black people care about no damn deer getting shot. Get outta my face!"
"Casablanca? I don't watch black and white movies. For a movie that takes place in Africa, there sure ain't too many black folks in that movie. Get outta my face!"

"Star Wars? I don't watch movies about spacemen. What, the bad guy is the big black man with James Earle Jones's voice? Nope, no racism there. That Chewbacca character is racist, too. Get outta my face!"

Are you sure you're quoting Barry Bonds? I thought it was Kellen Winslow Sr. Get outta my face!

Well, I can't verify if that is something he has actually said, but sounds like something he would say.
