2 observations:

Dont hate the player hate the game

Beleive none of what you read and half of what you see

Seems like with Iraq not doing as well as they would like, and Poll numbers looking sick, Karl has decided to make the story himself and take one for his boss. Also helps to focus away from current resluts in Iraq to the questions of patriotism, where for whatever reasons (maybe Red Teddy K and Screamin Deano...) the Dems poll weaker and Repulicans are stronger.

If I was a Dems Strategist you would go even harder on actual state of play on the ground in Iraq and totally ignore the current "i'm more patriotic than you" game which they can only ever draw not win...but hey these guys thought Kerry was a great candidate so I imagine they'll end up playing Karls game...

Cozmo

It's a good point, BH. The problem is, whenever Dems try to focus on reality, Rove and his boys start talking about values. For some reason, Johnny & Mary Mouthbreather in Tallahassee, FL and Hamilton, OH sop that shit up with a spoon and a crust of bread. So, they can either fight fire with fire or sit back and be called traitors.

Personally, I'm sick of being called a traitor.

Dude there's a reason that whenever Dems mention the Iraq the GOP call then traitors. It's because it makes the Dems mad and they lose focus and the issue becomes all messy

Sticks and Stones my friend. Big Karl doesn't care what people call him. He just wants to win.
